For King and Clan: A Fox-kin's Journey
This is the story of how a family of fox-kin serve a human king, securing their place in society. Building on the success of their ancestors, Ryan and Mia seek to strengthen ties with the royal family.
Meanwhile, trade negotiations continue in the palace as the King can barely keep his vassals from breaking the terms of the armistice. Tavern brawls turn a little too bloody as a cry spreads across the kingdom "Loyalty? Or bread!".
What to expect: - cold steel weapons with magic- a colonial-esque era- elements of strategy (including logistics)- other races introduced... eventually. If they fit. - powerful mages that can't block a crossbow bolt. Except for some earth mages. - Australian english, except when I slip. Not much slang though, I reckon. - probably not going to make it all that far in writing this- Ehh, I'm tacking on "Gore" but I mean realistic depictions of violence. I don't care to focus on it.
