Folt has lived most his life inside the Library, content to exist on the fringes of reality. Nightmares haunt him, leaving two names replete on his lips: Kim, Ecra. His self-enforced exile is broken when a S'uhn princess collapses inside, mewling weakly. Meanwhile, two exiles search for the Prolocutor's famed wisdom, venturing deep into Paris' Shadow to brave the dangers of the Ways.
The Prolocutor speaks for us all; the ravenous Dark Room would consume everything if he didn't. But is the Dark Room the only danger? And what, exactly, are the Prolocutor's true intentions?
I hope you enjoy this slower-paced fantasy. The horror kicks in around chapter five :)
