The Blue Maze: Trapped Shards
The world before the year 3000 displays the rise of the Fluffmitts -- living, breathing, and sometimes cute, these balls of fur are self-aware puppets that rarely reach a height of more than 5 feet.
One day, a human boy enters into the world of the Fluffmitts, and finds himself traversing the magical land of Dustnail.
One fateful morning, the boy ends up being captured, while aiming to avoid the dangers of his hourly escapades. One of his captors belongs to a certain race - this race is the main enemy of the Fluffmitts; the Hugstars -- conscious plushies that have evolved from harsh environments, which forced them to be cruel since their conception.
The boy, clumsily rushing into the middle of an ongoing Fluffmitts/Hugstars conflict, ends up igniting an implosion within both groups, a social bomb that detonates in his face, causing him to be sent on one final quest... the quest for the Portal Gems.
